Abstract
Incorporation of a redox-passive bridge affords three identical redox systems in the triskelion-shaped, carbon-rich, polyvinylidenemetal complex 1. The complex was isolated from the activation of the tripodal polyyne 1,3,5-(HC≡CC6 H4 C≡C)3 C6 H3 with [RuCl2 ({(Ph2 P)2 C2 H4 }2 ] and further converted into polyynylmetal complexes and a triple ferrocenyl-substituted ruthenium complex.
