Abstract

A role as tetradentate bridging ligand is given to [Mo5O13-(OMe)4(NO)]3−, a lacunary Lindqvist-type polyanion, on synthesis of the novel polyoxomolybdate-supported cyclopentadienyl rhodium complex 1. The rhodium atoms achieve an 1 8-electron configuration with two terminal axial oxygen atoms, a Cp* ring, and one bromide ligand.
