Abstract

1. Cymantrenyl(triphenylphosphine)gold and cyclopentadienyl (manganese dicarbonyl triphenylphosphine)triphenylphospinegold react with triphenylphospinegold fluoborate to give complex salts that resemble the organogold compounds of the ferrocene and benzene series. 2. The stability of the bond between the organogold compound and the (triphenylphospine)gold cation increases with increase in the electron-donor capacity of the organic radical.
