Abstract
1. Diphenylborylimidoylamidinates and dialkylborylimidoylamidinates substituted at the nitrogen atom were synthesized. 2. The hydrochloride and perchlorate salts of dialkylborylimidoylamidinates, which are a variant of boronium salts, were prepared. Complexes in which a donor-acceptor interaction is accomplished between the boron atom of a boron halide and the trigonal nitrogen atom of the chelate ring were prepared by reacting boron halides with the dialkylborylimidoylamidinates.
