Abstract
Introduction/Objective: Previous research has demonstrated that organizational culture types have a positive relationship with team functioning and achieving quality care. As part of the program evaluation for the Greater Rochester Nursing Home Quality Consortium (GRNHQC), a quality improvement collaborative of rural nursing homes (NH), organizational culture of the six founding NHs was examined. The purpose of the analysis was to better understand the role of organizational culture in facilitating team learning and sustaining improvements in resident care.
