Abstract
The industry safety inspection system of hydraulic structures of electric power station was created in 1971. At first (1972) the Provisional regulations on safety inspection of hydraulic structures of electric power stations and Standard technical program of inspecting hydraulic structures of operating electric power stations were drawn up and introduced. Subsequently (1978) the List of electric power stations of the USSR Ministry of Power and Electrification (Minenergo) subject to centralized safety inspection of hydraulic structures was drawn up and introduced. All inspection documents were drawn up by the All-Union State Trust for Organization and Rationalization of Regional Power Stations and Networks (ORGRES), which also revised them in 1980-1982 and 1988. In the latest revision the Standard program became an integral part of the basic document.
