Abstract
This type of qualitative research through a phenomenological approach, while the results showed that waste services are needed in building city cleanliness, for that cleaning services in order to be optimal, the responsibility does not only belong to the Makassar city government but all levels of society need to be involved so that people feel they have a responsibility in maintaining the cleanliness of Makassar city
