Abstract

Organizational culture is the consistent and observable behaviour pattern of employees in an organization. It is the sum of values, shared assumptions, beliefs, rituals, customs and traditions, hero's and heroines etc which acts as a bond to harmonize the members of an organization. This paper explores the concept of organizational culture with a detailed review on its different levels, characteristics, approaches, dimensions and tools. Current status and application of organizational culture in university libraries in Kerala is also reviewed in this study.
