Abstract

The germicidal properties of triolein ozonide in the form of ozonized olive oil have been investigated. Ozonized olive oil in vitro is bactericidal to Strephylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus albus, and Streptococcus bemolyticus and fungicidal to Tricbophyton mentagrophytes, Tricbophyton purpureum, Microsporon audouini, and Microsporon lanosum. Against Monilia albicans it is only fungistatic.
