Abstract

Abstract The silver diethyldithiocarbamate color development for arsenic was studied as an optional procedure for molybdenum blue color development in section 33.005. On two feeds containing arsenicals, 16 collaborators had average recoveries of 96.6% by the molybdenum blue method and 93.0% by the AgDDC method. The AgDDC method is not recommended for official status until further investigations have been completed.
