Abstract
The metallogeny of the zone of pre-Riphean structural-stratigraphic unconformity and Lower Riphean platform cover of the Uchur-Maya depression (southeastern Siberian Platform) is discussed with emphasis placed on its geology, ore-controlling structures, wall rock alteration, ore composition, and isotopic age of mineralization. The wide development of K-feldspathic metasomatites was established for the first time in the zone of structural-stratigraphic-unconformity and their role as a source of ore elements during ore precipitation was determined. The sequence of wall rock alterations and ore stages was examined with a description of the typical Au, U, Cu, and Ba occurrences. The ore zones and dispersion halos at some deposits have been shown to have a multielement composition. The metallogeny of the zone of pre-Riphean structural-stratigraphic unconformity and Lower Riphean platform cover is characterized by intense multistage premineral metasomatism, multielement composition of the ores, and favorable lithological-structural conditions for ore formation.
