Abstract
A phenomenological explanation with a pseudo-spin-lattice coupled-mode model is given for the ferroelectric phase transition from space group C2c/ to Cc in hydrogen-bonded NH4H(ClCH2COO)2 at 120K. From the fitting of the Curie constant and the transition temperature, the Blinc-de Gennes model parameters have been calculated.
