Abstract
In Caenorhabditis elegans, the syncytial germ line generates oocytes that undergo ovulation into the spermatheca, where they are fertilized. The fertilized embryos then undergo two meiotic divisions, followed by mitotic divisions before its deposition outside of the uterus.
