Abstract

Orbital orderings in ferromagnetic manganites are studied. We study a model which describes the ferromagnetic metallic manganites at absolute zero by the self-consistent second order perturbation theory (SCSOPT). The orbital wave excitation of the effective Hamiltonian at half-filling in the strong correlation limit is also studied.
