Orbital glial hamartoma and anophthalmos in Dandy-Walker syndrome

Abstract

We report a case of congenital anophthalmos and glial hamartoma in a child with Dandy-Walker syndrome. This is the first reported case of anophthalmia and glial hamartoma occurring in conjunction with Dandy-Walker syndrome, and may have some implications with regard to the pathogenesis of this syndrome.
