Abstract
Relatively little information has been available to prepare occupational therapists to meet the special needs of the tube fed infant. The purpose of this paper is to share specific information through a literature review regarding oral motor and feeding intervention for the tube fed infant who also may have a tracheostomy. Suggested treatment strategies are also discussed and illustrated in a case example.
