Abstract
The model Opus was used to simulate five years of soil water and crop growth data for a loam soil site. Simulations for water flow match the general trends, but there is some difference in the values. The results for crop growth were relatively good. Nitrogen was not simulated very well, but there are reasons to suspect the measured data. Pesticide dissipation was simulated with reasonable accuracy.
