Abstract

An optimum utilization of alternative sources of energy which are associated simultaneously to supply electrical power to the selected area of consumers under stand alone or grid connected mode. Alternative sources of energy can supply high reliability by given that on-site production. As an outcome of this many hybrid scheme come in continued existence like SPV cells, micro wind turbine, Biomass energy, Biogas energy and small hydro systems. An integrated renewable energy system (IRES) is progressively more life form applied where the grid extension is considered too expensive. To make model of IRES is a very site definite and based on the locally accessible renewable energy assets and load summary. This paper presents an optimal modeling of solar, wind, SHP, bio-mass and bio-gas energy systems for un-electrified remote area in Gujarat. For this intention, seven un-electrified clusters of villages in Limkheda taluka and Dahod district in Gujarat state have been selected as study area. The model has been developed with the objective of optimal cost based on seasonal load demand variation and potential available in village area. The IRES model has been optimized using Homer software tool and found smallest amount entirety Net Present Cost (NPC) and Costs Of Energy (COE) of the IRES system. To make sensitivity analysis for different biomass price and steam flow of SHP with the corresponding NPC and COE of the optimal system. This article produce simulation outcome of PV-Wind-hydro and Biomass and Biogas system. The software tool Hybrid Optimization Models for Energy Resources (HOMER) is doing optimization process. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) has been used to create and investigate the SPV-Wind-Biomass, Biogas and Hydro analysis by this software.
