Abstract
This paper presents a mathematical model to estimate optimum life cycle cost of an equipment with known mean time to failure and mean time to repair. In addition, several equipment labour cost estimation models are presented when mean time to failure and mean time to repair follow distributions such as exponential, Rayleigh, Weibull and gamma.
