Abstract

A compact diversity wire antenna with two highly isolated ports is obtained using a genetic algorithm in conjunction with the moment method. It has much better performance than a standard dual-monopole. Envelope correlation of the two ports is much less than 0.1 and easily meets the requirement for achieving diversity.
