Optimum cast plan for steelmaking-continuous casting production scheduling using artificial fish swarm optimization algorithm

Abstract

An optimum cast plan model for steel-making continuous casting planning and scheduling is presented. An artificial fish swarm optimization algorithm is used to solve the optimum cast plan problem. The computation with practical data shows that the model and the solving method are very effective.
