Abstract

1. A model has been derived for fluctuation noise on telephone lines. 2. A procedure has been developed to optimize the basic parameters of FM systems for transmitting ECG's by telephone. 3. Optimal parameters have been obtained for ECG telephone transmitters and receivers f0=1700 Hz; m=3.3; Δf=330 Hz; ΔF=1030 Hz (with the frequency cutoffs f1=1185 Hz and and fu=2215 Hz).
