Abstract

This paper considers how to reduce the amount of data to improve the user experience from data compression and network transmission technology according to the characteristics of map tile technology. The former mainly reduces the amount of data itself through the elimination of redundant data of PNG files and lossless compression. The latter reduces the amount of data in network transmission through the GZIP compression technology to achieve dynamic compression before the vector block data transmission thus effectively reducing the amount of data in network transmission while saving data transmission time. Experiments and applications show that the above two methods can greatly improve data transmission performance.
