Abstract

This paper aims to investigate the optimal consensus tracking control problem for a class of uncertain nonlinear multiagent systems with event-triggered communication. A novel smooth event-triggered communication mechanism is designed to overcome the design difficulties caused by the discontinuous triggered signals. To realize the control goals, by employing the reinforcement learning (RL) algorithm under the critic-actor architecture, a new optimized adaptive control scheme is proposed. The proposed smooth event-triggered communication mechanism is integrated with optimized adaptive consensus control technique to guaranteed that the synchronization errors converge to a neighborhood of the origin. Finally, the simulation results validate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed methodology.
