Abstract
This is my first editorial for <italic xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Magazine</i> , and I am honored to take the role as its editor-in-chief. I highly appreciate the effort of former editor-in-chief Prof. Haibin Zhu in the editing process of collecting the exciting feature articles for this issue.
