Abstract

At the design stage of fuel systems there are widely applied one-dimensional mathematical simulations software complexes that replace the real complex systems and structures with block diagrams as mathematical blocks models that fully describe these systems and structures. Significant limitation of one-dimensional mathematical models leads to inability for correct calculation of the spatial distribution of selected parameters considering geometric features of system structural components. This limitation does not allow conduct search and optimization studies for several operating conditions of the fuel system. This article proposes a methodology for creating a complex mathematical model of the fuel system that allows for the calculation of characteristics considering their spatial distribution. The methodology is based on the joint work of one-dimensional and three-dimensional mathematical models as a single calculation complex.
