Abstract
Based on the multi-body dynamic software SIMPACK and the harmonic function method, a vehicle dynamic model of wheel eccentric out-of-roundness is established by simulating the first harmonic non-circular sequence. By integrating SIMPACK and Isight, an approximate model is established with the vehicle suspension parameters as the design variable and the vehicle dynamic performance index as the objective function. The multi-objective genetic algorithm (NSGA-II) is also applied to optimize the suspension parameters of the vehicle dynamic model of wheel eccentric out-of-roundness. The real application result shows the proposed method greatly improves vehicle dynamic performance.
