Abstract
Two software programs have been written for optimization of the mobile phase used for separation of aflatoxins on silica gel 60 plates. The optimum mobile-phase composition was chloroform-acetone, 92 + 8 ( v/v ). This mixture was used experimentally and the results obtained for aflatoxins B 1 , B 2 , G 1 , and G 2 were very good.
