Abstract

1. A method has been developed for evaluation of the deformability of blank materials in rolling of thin profile compressor blades which provides the capability of designating the basic parameters of the process of cold rolling of blades. With the use of the proposed method it is possble to intensify the process of cold rolling of blades by reducing the number of passes and intermediate anneals from three or four to one to three. 2. The relationship was established between the utilized resource of plasticity and the fatigue strength of the blade materials. The critical value of the utilized resource of plasticity, which characterizes the allowable reduction, inrolling, of the level of original fatigue limit, was determined for the blade alloys.
