Abstract

This research describes the implementation and criteria of the Decent Housing Assistance Program in Sulabesi Tengah District, Kepulauan Sula, North Maluku. Through a structured qualitative descriptive approach, the researcher utilized several data collection methods. This includes direct field observations to understand the dynamics of the implementation, in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, and detailed analysis of official documents and related reports. The integration of data from newly obtained primary sources and existing secondary data provides a comprehensive overview of the ongoing situation. The findings indicate that this assistance program has been effective in providing solutions for low-income communities, evidenced by its success in aspects of socialization, evaluation processes, and meeting beneficiary requirements. However, there are challenges and obstacles in its implementation, such as administrative and logistical constraints. Therefore, this study not only offers insights into the current reality but also presents strategic recommendations focused on enhancing the sustainability and effectiveness of the program for optimal future implementation.
