Abstract

The main subject of the present research is the optimization of the system development process for electronic devices in the automotive industry. The material is based on the main mechanisms for electronic development from the international SPICE standard. The authors look at three main problems in the automotive industry today and try to provide a solution to all of them. First, an overview of the current situation with the documentation dealing with the specifics of designing electronic devices for the automotive industry is made. Based on that, the specifics for automotive electronic design are defined. Next, solution for monitoring of the results related to specific system requirements is provided. Finally, an attempt is made to define an optimization strategy for the development process - without losing traceability and without losing project quality.
