Abstract

AbstractThis paper focuses on the power allocation and relay location for decode-and-forward (DF) relaying in the presence of co-channel interference. Firstly, we derive the approximation outage probability in the high signal-to-interference ratio (SIR) regime. Then, three optimization problems are formulated to minimize the obtained approximation outage probability, namely optimal relay location with fixed power allocation, optimal power allocation with fixed relay location, and joint optimization of relay location and power allocation.
