Abstract

The development of the photovoltaic (PV) sector in Poland, as a crucial component of the renewableenergy transition strategy, faces a challenge related to limited user awareness of operational risks.Our study addresses this gap by presenting the development and implementation of an interactivedashboard for the National Fire Department’s Decision Support System (SWD PSP), aimed atoptimizing the safety of PV installations through data analysis and the formulation of preventivestrategies. Utilizing data from fire protection units, this tool enables the monitoring of incidentsand identification of potential threats, while simultaneously increasing societal awareness. Thedashboard, leveraging advanced data visualization techniques, provides easy navigation anddynamic presentation of statistics, facilitating quick responses to changing data and potentialhazards. The results of our study highlight the significance of such tools in enhancing the safety ofusing PV installations, which can contribute to the further development of the renewable energysector, ensuring its safety and efficiency.
