Abstract

A method of nondestructive examination of the state of cooling microchannels of heavily loaded turbine blades by measuring the speed of an exiting aerosol-containing air flow using a continuous-wave coherent Doppler lidar is described. A mathematical model by use of which optimum values of parameters of gas-generator and lidar systems are determined is developed. The effect of the diameter of aerosol particles on the backscattered power is studied.
