Abstract

AbstractTo facilitate the process of patient registration at outpatient clinics, four methods of appointment registration with idiomatic personalization services, including online hospital registration booking, on-site appointment registration, manual registration service by telephone and automated telephone registration and appointment booking, were simultaneously practised in our hospital. The personalized appointment services improved the patients' satisfaction and social benefits. Different kinds of appointment registration services could further satisfy the different requirements of patients, which could make the visiting process more reasonable, make full use of the registration resources, reduce the medical cost and improve the quality of outpatient service.
