Abstract

Mathematical models of single-phase induction motors with asymmetric three-phase and two-phase windings (the number per pole in the main and auxiliary phases is not the same in the latter case). The models allow one to take into account during computations the torques created by higher harmonic fields. Criteria for the optimization of electrical motors are selected and optimization studies of induction capacitor motors are conducted on the basis of the main version of a modern unified series.
