Abstract

By experiments and calculations, the optimal modes of fir wood catalytic delignification with a mixture of acetic acid and hydrogen peroxide in the presence of 0.5 wt % TiO2 have been identified. At optimal conditions of the delignification process, a high yield of a qualitative fibrous product (48.4%) with a cellulose content of 89.5% and residual lignin of 0.8 wt % is achieved.
