Abstract

Objective To optimize and establish the extraction of Gastrodia. Methods Orthogonal experiment design was adopted, and the content of gastrodin was detected by HPLC. The extraction ratio of Gastrodia and its extract were evaluated. Results The gastrodin showed a good linear relationship within the range of 0.142 8-0.714 0 μg (r=0.999 4) with an average recovery of 100.01% (RSD=1.04%). The optimal extraction condition of Gastrodia was 6-fold volume of sample weight with 60% alcohol for two times. Conclusions The method is simple and applicable to the extraction of Gastrodia elata.
