Abstract

In this contribution we are reporting the optimization of cycling performance of CNT-S composite cathode with conductive solid electrolyte lithium borohydride (LiBH4) for solid state lithium sulfur batteries. The composite cathode was fabricated via different composition of S and CNTs with acetylene dark (AB) and LiBH4 by ball-milling. Electrochemical performance has been tested by galvanostatic charge-discharge at 0.1C c-rate showing initial charge capacity 1459 mAh/g and constant capacity upto 398.045mAh/g over no of cycles. Our results indicate a significant improvement in rate and cycling performance of LiBH4 solid electrolyte.
