Abstract

Chromatographic properties of seven phenothiazine derivatives have been studied under conditions of TLC on silica gel plates in various single-component eluents. It is established that better results are provided by eluents with ammonia additions. Optimum compositions of binary and ternary solvent mixtures for the best separation of phenothiazine derivatives have been determined and the possibility of modifying silica gel with ammonia has been studied. The complete separation of the compounds studied is achieved using two-dimensional TLC.
