Abstract

In this paper, the S-CO2 recompression Brayton cycle system of Marine Low-speed diesel engine flue gas waste heat recovery is built. By analyzing the physical characteristics of working medium and the law of the influence on the efficiency, five kinds of CO2-based mixed working medium are selected to optimize the CO2-based mixed working medium for Marine Low-speed diesel engine flue gas waste heat recovery from the aspects of total recovery energy, net recovery work and efficiency. The results show that the net recovery work of CO2-based mixed working medium supplemented with 20.11% propane increases by 17.02kW compared with that of pure CO2. The circulating efficiency of CO2 based mixed medium with 32.03% propane is increased by 5.42%.
