Abstract

Combined with the engineering requirements of the current equipment spare parts optimization, an optimization method of equipment spare parts based on Monte Carlo simulations is proposed. The spare parts support model of the equipment was constructed using a Monte Carlo simulation analysis, and the operational availability and the spare parts support costs of the equipment were obtained. Then, the fuzzy multi-objective optimization method was used to comprehensively evaluate the operational availability and the spare parts support costs of the equipment, and the optimal initial spare parts list that met the decision-makers' satisfaction was obtained. Finally, the case application was carried out with the spare parts optimization of a certain type of equipment. The results showed that the proposed method could effectively solve the problem of spare parts optimization of equipment.
