Abstract

The resource management problem of edge computing micro cloud system is a hot research topic. Aiming at the shortcomings of existing methods in delay and energy optimization, a method is proposed. This method takes into account both computing and communication: One hand, the virtual machine migration technology reduces the computational delay and energy consumption during the task unloading process, on the other hand, the transmission power control technology reduces the transmission delay and energy consumption during the task unloading process. Ultimately combine the two to reduce the service delay and energy consumption of the entire system. In this paper, the proposed method is simulated in a specific application scenario. The experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the optimization effect of delay and energy consumption.
