Abstract

In this paper, a directional logarithmic periodic antenna is designed to meet the application requirements of local discharge detection in substation.The model of log-periodic dipole antenna was established by using high frequency electromagnetic wave simulation software, and the effects of dielectric substrate thickness, dielectric constant of dielectric substrate and patch size parameters on antenna return loss and standing wave ratio were analyzed.Finally, the dielectric substrate thickness of the antenna is 1.6mm, the material is TEflon, and the width of the assembly line is 4mm.According to the selected antenna type and size, the uHF signal receiving antenna is manufactured.
