Abstract

An optimal data set for the Sn-Te system is evaluated by a least-squares method. The associate model was chosen for the analytical description of the liquid. The intermetallic compound SnTe was described by the Wagner-Schottky model. The calculated phase diagram, as well as the thermodynamic functions, agree well with experimental data from the literature.
