Abstract

AbstractTaking a certain type of electric multiple units (EMU) as the research object, a multi-body dynamic simulation model of vehicle is established. The sample set of vehicle parameter combination and target response value is obtained by using the optimal Latin hypercube design test, and two approximate models of radial basis function (RBF) and response surface methodology (RSM) are established to fit the relationship between the design variables and the objective function. Then the non-dominated sorting genetic algorithms-2 (NSGA-II) is used to solve the two approximate models and the accuracy of the two methods is analyzed. The results show that the credibility of RBF and RSM approximate models meet the requirements, the number of optimal solutions of RSM model is more than that of RBF model, and RSM model has higher accuracy.KeywordsEMUDynamic simulationApproximate modelMulti objective optimization
