Abstract
In order to analyze the electrically large objects using in satellite communication or other fields, the quasi-optical techniques have been widely applied in millimeter and submillimeter wave band. Gaussian beam expansion (GBE) and Point matching (PM) are two methods to expand the electromagnetic field into the Gaussian beams (GBs). And combining the advantages of two methods, we propose an optimization algorithm (OA) balanced the accuracy and time-consuming. Details of three methods are discussed. The OA method shows good performance among these three methods.
