Abstract

ABSTRACT The research presented had the general objective of optimizing the public transport service for the El Cardon urbanization, Colina municipality of the Falcon state. The research is of a non-experimental, field, descriptive design and feasible project modality. It was evidenced that the majority of the community's inhabitants use the public transport system as a means of mobilization. The results obtained showed that the travel time of public transport units is between 30 and 60 minutes, which users use more frequently from 6:00 to 7:00 am; the greatest difficulty to access a unit of public transport is from 6:00 to 7:00 am; The units that provide service are in regular condition and users requested to increase the number of public transport units and consider it necessary to design a new route for the route.
