Abstract
The quantitation of total fluoride content in dental creams formulated with silica abrasive was investigated by capillary GLC via the trimethylfluorosilane derivative. The sample preparation was optimised to achieve the most favorable recovery with good precision. The procedure has been validated for sodium fluoride and sodium monofluorophosphate.
