Abstract

In recent years, with the expansion of organisations, service-oriented architecture is known as an effective tool for creating applications. Hence, the need to use web services in organisations to reduce costs is felt more than ever. The purpose of web service composition is to determine a proper mix of user requests that cannot be met by a simple web service. In this paper, a genetic-based algorithm is proposed for combining cloud services that ensures multiple clouds work efficiently. The proposed method also provides an overview of the weaknesses of other available methods in terms of computational complexity in automated selection of web services and makes it possible to fulfil the demands of the composition of web services in a more optimal way. It is worth noting that the simulation results show the superiority of the proposed method compared to other methods analysed in the paper.
